Origins of Racial Hatred - Our World

"Myanmar's colonial rulers -- as they did throughout the world -- played ethnic groups against each other, boosting the Christian Karen and other non-Buddhist minorities and importing large numbers of Indian and Chinese workers. As Suu Kyi herself wrote in 1988, "the practice of encouraging the differences between the various racial groups was to have sad consequences for the independent nation of the future." - CNN (Dec 14, 2019)

How many countries had the British destroyed with the all pervasive "Divide & Rule" policy; how many ethnic divides they could take advantage of, pitted against one another and destroying the humanity in all of them.

As we are saddled today, with hate amongst races, crimes against humanity - I cannot but wonder what would the future of the world be - if the all conquering "British Empire" hadn't done what they had done. For their own selfish gains they thrust Hindus / Muslims / Buddhists / Native Religion practising citizens into unwarranted wars amongst ourselves, which sadly we cannot overcome to this day. They say that there was one time, when the sun didn't set on the British Empire - it seems they took the sun for themselves and left darkness throughout their empire. Today, when I hear the UK / British preaching the world of Human Rights, I cannot help myself from a derisive sneer.

They say British Regime brought a lot of advancement in Indian Society - but at what cost, I wonder! At what cost? I feel, India and the world would gladly have done without all " the advancement" but if they would have mind their own ruddy business in their shores and left some peace, love & humanity in the world.

And yes, they neither have the guts or the courage to atleast acknowledge the pain they have caused across the world - to apologize for the same.

Yet I unwaveringly hope, that common individuals, armed with a conscience, armed with real education, armed with a belief in humanity can never be deterred from doing good, and being good - to all humans, irrespective of religion, faith, caste etc.

Cause eventually we are all bound by a same thread - We're all HUMANS!
